Leaping Ahead of the Competition: How We Enabled a Child’s Learning Path Through Stores and Smart Devices

The Problem

LeapFrog focused squarely on building learning tools for kids for more than a decade. The popularity of helping kids connect to internet enabled devices brought technical challenges the team didn’t have the skill set in house to solve. They needed the ability to scale quickly for the FLY Pen, Tag, Leapster, the Learning Path and a fully integrated eCommerce platform with a cohesive look and feel from the customer to the manufacturer.

The Solution

Mystic was brought in and after following a discovery process with the LeapFrog internal team was able to scale a team to engineer solutions for the problems LeapFrog was facing. Our team brought the best engineers in each area and worked onsite and offsite over a two year engagement to deploy on time and under budget.

The Result

LeapFrog was able to quickly adapt to the connected child which was quickly becoming necessary after the release of devices like the iPhone. LeapFrog was able to stay ahead of the competition and built out a best of breed solution for their online stores, and assist children worldwide in education using devices that connected to systems that Mystic developed in-house with the team.
