I saw your speech at last year’s java2days in Sofia (Bulgaria). I was there as a JavaSvet (Serbia’s Java User Group) member.
I must say that I was really impressed with your presentation and wicket in general, that right after coming back home, I’ve started playing with it a little. [if you remember there was a little talk between you and the GWT guy, hehe funny stuff]
Later I’ve organized a little “wicket talk” myself, for Java teams in my company, to show the guys how awesome it really is (just to mention that my team worked on some legacy e-banking app that used EJB 2.0, yup, you’ve read it right, EJB 2.0).
Because it was outsourced project I had no chance to turn things around, and we were stuck with EJB. But, I had a chance to move on to another company, and there they told me that I could use any framework I like. So I’ve chosen Wicket.
And I’m impressed! One thing is to use it in my personal projects (I’m planning on publishing them anytime now), but to working with it on my regular 9am-5pm job is a blast!
Also I plan to organize some wicket talks for JavaSvet and spread the word 
What was the point of this whole thing? Well, you really inspired me, and got me interested in Wicket, that I had to try it, and now my job is a dream, and I want to thank you for that.
